• Senior TT - Qualified in 9th place, but due to a broken steering damper toured to finish in 18th place, gaining the ACU Club Team Award.

• Formula 1 TT – Lying in 5th place before being forced to retire on the final lap.

• Fastest TT Course lap in 1998 - 117.90mph during the Senior TT.

Southern 100 Steam Packet Races

• - 3rd place in main 1300cc Race

• Fastest S100 Course lap in 1998 - 103.9mph.
